Costus vargasii 'Raspberry Yogurt'  旋轉閉鞘薑
原產於秘魯的中大型閉鞘薑，是熱帶植物中色彩極為跳躍的觀賞品種。
那宛如螺旋旋轉緞帶般的莖部，靠近基部再帶著類似竹節的明顯隆起，優雅地旋轉向上生長。
寬大的葉片在橄欖綠的表層下，隱藏著天鵝絨質感的深紫色葉背
花朵可以開在莖頂部或者土面，
綻放的亮紅苞片及亮黃小花交織出豐富的視覺層次，這個花序應該就是覆盆子優格的命名來源。

這株能長到約一公尺半高的熱帶精靈，很需要空間，不適合在室內栽種
適合生活在光線明亮卻柔和的散射光，只能短暫直曬。
但仍須避開夏季西曬，以免葉片邊緣受傷，冬季低溫生長緩慢葉子也容易受損，濕氣足也能保持得更完整。
當它在庭園角落或大盆栽中舒展時，不僅能營造出濃郁的叢林異國感，那充滿動態美的螺旋莖部更是花園的藝術素材。

栽培難度：低
